What Happens on the Inside Burj Al Arab Tour

Your tour begins at the Inside Burj Al Arab (IBAA) Ticketing Lounge at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, where an Emirati host welcomes you with traditional rose water and hand towels. From there, a private buggy carries you across the bridge connecting the mainland to Burj Al Arab's private island — with a stop for that classic sail-shaped-hotel photo.

Inside, you'll walk through the hotel's atrium — one of the tallest hotel atriums in the world before a panoramic glass elevator takes you up to the 25th floor for a guided walk through the Royal Suite, including its marble, 24-carat gold-detailed interiors. The tour also includes the Experience Suite, where original architectural sketches and interactive displays tell the story of the hotel's design and construction.

The visit closes at UMA Lounge, with Arabic coffee, dates, and views over the Arabian Gulf.

History & Architectural Design

With HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, architect Tom Wright, and interior designer Khuan Chew at the helm, the Inside Burj Al Arab tour highlights never-before-seen design elements — from the chosen patterns and colors to the very first hand-drawn sketch.

Iconic Photo Moments

With countless opportunities to capture your own iconic moments, Inside Burj Al Arab provides stunning backdrops — both exterior and interior — to take home as memories. (Note: photography is not permitted in the main atrium or on the first floor, out of respect for in-house hotel guests.)

Guided Royal Suite Tour

Experience the splendour of the Burj Al Arab Royal Suite, guided by a dedicated butler. Step beyond the gilded doors to witness exceptional craftsmanship, luxurious décor, and a space once reserved only for royalty and distinguished guests.

Extend Your Visit

After your tour, you can explore available dining and beverage experiences at Burj Al Arab. Additional culinary experiences are subject to availability and are booked separately.
